Rodney (all his buddies call him Rod but I wont go there…) is a sexy little gymnast boy. I hadnt met him for two minutes before he had been performing the splits right before me.I thought to myself,”this will be fascinating! “Hes a school guy and he claims he hasnt done in some time. I believe hes actually now on a collegiate team and didnt need to let on for fear that doing dirty films might interfere. Only my opinion.Video work with this man was a breeze. We had him in the playground, smiling and performing backflips. We had him at the SUV, grinning and showing off his balls. We had him at the studio, grinning and performing… well, splits.Oddly enough, however, once the still camera arrived out the grin disappeared. He got this stressed”deer-in-the-headlights” appearance every time I held up the camera to shoot. “OK, relax your head and give me a smile,” I advised him. Click. What I got looked like a cheesy high school yearbook photo. “No, youre doing great but just relax and give me a really great little smile.” Click. Another uncomfortable grin.So I stopped and asked him why he wasnt comfortable with the camera. Turns out hes one of these hot men who doesnt know hes sexy and has never been comfortable having his picture taken. Go figure.So we did a facial exercises (actually!) And finally got a cocky, boy-next-door look that functioned for him.At any speed, his versatility is pretty damn impressive and’m really, really hoping that we can put it to good use!
